PRESIDENT & CEO
Scope of the Job:
This new position reports to the Chairman of the Board. As President & CEO you will work
closely with the President & CEO Golden Innovations, EVP CFO and EVP CAO Golden Living to set
and implement an overall strategic direction for the company's businesses. Longer-term, the
strategy may involve continued growth through targeted acquisitions.
You will:
Commit to and develop a shared vision within the company based on the core values of the company.
Have full profit and loss responsibility for the Golden Living skilled nursing centers.
Develop and implement an aggressive business plan to enhance the company's current position
and growth.
Define the standards of performance for operations, acquisitions, quality and employee, customer and
stockholder satisfaction.
Assess and enhance where necessary, the company's structure, critical processes and key competencies to
be consistent with the business plan.
Develop an acquisition and re-structuring strategy for the Golden Living skilled nursing centers.
Maintain and enhance a competent executive management team who works well together and each of whom
will become back-up candidates for the President & CEO position.
Work closely with the executive management team in policy matters and major decisions affecting the
company.
Candidate Requirements:
We seek a seasoned executive with a minimum of 15 years of healthcare industry experience with at
least 5 years as a CEO or COO. You should be comfortable in a business with more than $1 billion in
revenue from consumer or services orientated environments with a geographically disperse work force.
You must be a growth orientated business leader who has demonstrated strategic skills in developing vision
for a business and implementing aggressive business plans. You must have an appetite for managing
relationships with shareholders, bankers and other external constituencies.
You must have experience in identifying, pursuing, evaluating and closing acquisitions in related
industries. More importantly, you must have direct hands-on experience with post-merger management
situations.

Compensation:
A compensation package will be designed to attract outstanding talent and will include a base
salary, performance bonus and an attractive benefits package.
